Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder or schizophrenia (DSM-IV diagnosis).
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You have not had any vaccines in the last 4 weeks.
  • You do not have a serious nervous system (neurologic) illness.
  • You are not taking medicines that weaken or change your immune system, and you have not had an infection in the last 4 weeks (including HIV, hepatitis B, or hepatitis C).
