Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with a type of rectal cancer called pMMR or MSS (which means your tumor has a normal mismatch repair system).
- The lower part of your tumor is within 10 cm of the anal opening.
- Your cancer is stage T3 or T4 with certain high-risk features (like positive lymph nodes or blood vessel invasion) but has not spread to distant organs.
- You are between 18 and 75 years old and have a good performance status (able to do daily activities without much help).
- You have not received any previous cancer treatment for this rectal cancer.
