Gene therapy for hearing loss from vestibular schwannoma

Who can take part

  • You have a vestibular schwannoma (a benign tumor on the hearing nerve) on one side only, and it is growing.
  • The tumor is larger than 2 mm.
  • You have profound hearing loss (very severe) in the ear with the tumor.
  • You can follow the study schedule and agree to join a separate long-term follow-up study after this one ends.
  • You have not had surgery or radiation for this tumor before.
  • You do not have NF2 (a genetic condition causing tumors on both hearing nerves).
