Nerve-sparing techniques in prostate cancer surgery

Who can take part

  • You are a man between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have prostate cancer that is considered very low, low, or intermediate risk (not high risk or advanced).
  • Your cancer has not spread outside the prostate capsule (no stage T3 or higher) and no signs of spread to lymph nodes or bones on imaging.
  • You are in good overall health (ECOG performance status 0 or 1) and expected to live more than 10 years.
  • You have not had any previous treatment for prostate cancer (like surgery, radiation, hormones, or chemotherapy) and are not currently on hormone therapy.
