Pulse Energy and Blood Injection for Stubborn Back Pain

This trial tests a new treatment for stubborn low back pain that involves a short pulse of radio waves (a type of energy) and an injection of your own blood cells (called PRP) to help the muscles in your back work better. Who can take part

  • You have had low back pain for more than 6 months, and it hasn't gotten better with usual treatments.
  • Your pain is linked to a specific muscle problem in your back (called multifidus dysfunction).
  • You have not had back surgery in the past year.
  • You are not taking blood thinners or strong steroid medications.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
