Who can take part

  • You must be 16 to 65 years old.
  • You must have acute myeloid leukemia, acute lymphoblastic leukemia in remission, or myelodysplastic syndrome requiring a stem cell transplant.
  • You must be getting a stem cell transplant from a half-matched (haploidentical) donor.
  • You must be well enough to perform daily activities (ECOG score 0-2).
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You cannot have had a prior stem cell or organ transplant.
