Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have a mature fistula in your upper arm that has been used for dialysis at least once.
  • The narrowed spot in your fistula is at least 50% blocked and causes problems like high pressure during dialysis or low blood flow.
  • You have not had a stent placed in your fistula before.
  • You are not planning a kidney transplant or switching to peritoneal dialysis in the next year.
  • You do not have an active infection or a blood clotting disorder.
