AI system to improve ovarian ultrasound diagnosis

Ovarian NeoplasmsAdnexal Mass

Part of Cancer, Hormones & metabolism, Women’s health & pregnancy clinical trials.

This study tests an AI system that helps doctors read ovarian ultrasound images more accurately. You might qualify if you had an ovarian mass seen on ultrasound, had it surgically removed, and have clear images and lab results.

Who can take part

  • You have a growth (mass) on your ovary that was seen on an ultrasound and didn't go away on its own.
  • You had surgery to remove the mass, and lab tests were done on the tissue.
  • The lab tests confirmed the mass is from the ovary (not another organ).
  • The lab results were clear and not uncertain.
  • The ultrasound images of the mass were clear – not blurry, overly dark or bright, or blocked by gas.

Testing an ultrasound model to sort pregnancy ovarian cysts

This study checks how well a specific ultrasound-based scoring tool can tell the difference between harmless (non-cancer) and harmful (cancer) ovarian masses during pregnancy. If you have a cyst or mass that’s at least 5 cm, your scan details may be used to validate the tool.

AI system to improve ovarian tumor diagnosis before surgery

This study is testing an AI system that uses your ultrasound or MRI images and blood test results to help doctors better diagnose ovarian tumors before surgery. It may lead to more accurate treatment planning.

NCT06851429Recruiting
Ovarian cancer detection on CT scans using artificial intelligence

This trial tests a computer program (artificial intelligence) that looks at CT scans of the pelvis to help find ovarian cancer. If it works, it could help doctors diagnose this cancer earlier and more accurately.
