Who can take part
- You must have a specific type of AML that has changes (mutations) in the CEBPA gene, especially in the bZIP part.
- You need to be between 14 and 55 years old.
- You should be in fairly good health (able to do daily activities) with a performance status of 0, 1, or 2.
- Your liver and kidney function must be near normal, and your heart must be healthy (normal echo and enzyme levels).
- You cannot have had any chemotherapy for AML before, or have another active cancer, or have serious heart or lung infections.
