Who can take part

  • You must have a type of AML with both a FLT3 and an NPM1 gene change.
  • You need to be newly diagnosed and between 18 and 74 years old.
  • Your heart, kidneys, and liver must be working well enough for strong chemotherapy.
  • You should be in good enough shape to do daily activities (like walking or light work).
  • You cannot have certain other health problems, like HIV, uncontrolled infections, or a history of other cancers that came back.
  • You must be able to swallow pills and avoid grapefruit and certain medications during the trial.
