Who can take part
- You have never had a heart ablation procedure before
- You have persistent atrial fibrillation and are scheduled for catheter ablation
- You have an enlarged upper-left heart chamber (at least 4.5 cm in diameter, or a specific volume or area)
- You are 18 years or older
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have no history of stroke or mini-stroke
- Your heart pumps at least 35% of blood out of the main chamber (LVEF ≥35%)
