  • You have been diagnosed with lung cancer
  • You are scheduled to have lung removal surgery at least 4 days from now
  • You do not have severe liver or kidney disease
  • You are not allergic to fish
  • You have not had any other surgery in the last 3 months
  • You are not immunocompromised (have a weakened immune system)
