Who can take part
- You are 18 or older.
- You have been diagnosed with HER2-positive stomach or gastroesophageal junction cancer that has spread or can't be removed with surgery.
- You have not received any prior treatment for this cancer (except possibly neoadjuvant or adjuvant therapy if it's been more than 6 months since you completed it).
- You have not had any prior HER2-targeted therapy (like trastuzumab or other similar drugs).
- You are able to perform daily activities without significant help (ECOG score 0 or 1).
- You have no active bleeding in your stomach or intestines, and no cancer spread to the brain.
