Who can take part

  • You must be at least 18 years old and diagnosed with interstitial lung disease.
  • Your recent lung function tests should show your lung capacity and gas exchange are at a moderate level (between 30% and 80% of normal).
  • You cannot need oxygen therapy for more than 15 hours a day or have had recent severe lung infections.
  • You cannot have had stem cell treatment before, and you must not have had certain cancers in the last 5 years.
  • You must not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
