  • You have signs of a stroke within the last 24 hours (including wake-up or unknown start time).
  • A doctor or paramedic suspects you had a sudden stroke affecting movement, speech, or vision.
  • You are scheduled for a brain scan as part of your normal care.
  • You or a family member gives permission for your health data to be used for research.
