Who can take part

  • You are 18 years of age or older.
  • You have had an ischemic stroke (a stroke from a blocked blood vessel in the brain), confirmed by imaging tests like a CT or MRI.
  • Your stroke began at a known time (or you know when you were last seen normal).
  • You were independent in daily activities before this stroke (mRS score of 2 or less).
  • You are able to have a resting EEG without delaying your urgent stroke treatment.
  • The study focuses on people with mild-to-moderate stroke severity (NIHSS score between 4 and 18).
