Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • You have advanced liver cancer that cannot be surgically removed or has spread to other parts of the body.
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans and hasn't been treated with local therapies like radiation or ablation.
  • Your liver function is good (Child-Pugh A) and your cancer stage is B or C on the BCLC scale.
  • You are able to take care of yourself (ECOG performance status 0 or 1).
  • You agree to use effective birth control if you or your partner could become pregnant.
