Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You need a dental implant to help restore your teeth.
- You either take a TNF-alpha inhibitor medication (a type of drug that reduces inflammation) regularly for at least 6 months, or you don't take it at all.
- You do not have serious gum disease or other major mouth problems like cysts or tumors.
- You do not have uncontrolled diabetes (A1c over 8.0) or a history of head/neck radiation.
- You have not used tobacco in the last year, and you are not pregnant (if applicable).
