Who can take part

  • You are pregnant with one baby (not twins or more).
  • Your baby is born alive.
  • You are at least 37 weeks pregnant when the baby is born.
  • The baby is delivered by an emergency cesarean section, and you have epidural or spinal anesthesia.
  • Your baby does not have a major birth defect or genetic disorder that would affect their breathing or care.
