- Your baby must be diagnosed with a heart problem before birth (congenital heart disease) that scores between 3 and 6 on a special severity scale.
- You must be pregnant with only one baby, not twins or more.
- You must deliver between 37 weeks and 0 days and 41 weeks and 6 days of pregnancy.
- You and your baby must both provide consent (you for yourself and for your baby).
