Who can take part

  • Your baby must have been diagnosed with a congenital diaphragmatic hernia before birth.
  • You must be at least 34 weeks pregnant.
  • You must be carrying only one baby.
  • Your baby must not have other major birth defects or genetic problems found before birth.
  • Your delivery must be planned (not an emergency C-section) and your health must allow the study approach.
  • Both parents must sign a consent form agreeing to the study.
