Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You are scheduled for subtotal or total parathyroidectomy (with or without transplant of parathyroid tissue elsewhere).
- You have tertiary hyperparathyroidism, recurrent hyperparathyroidism, or secondary hyperparathyroidism with any stage of chronic kidney disease.
- You are not having surgery for primary hyperparathyroidism.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You can provide written consent and complete follow-up visits.
