Tissue study of parathyroid tumors to understand tumor biology

This study looks at blood and/or tissue samples from people with parathyroid problems to better understand different types of parathyroid tumors. It does not test a new medicine—instead, researchers analyze samples to learn what makes each tumor type different.

Hormone monitoring during parathyroid surgery for kidney-related hyperparathyroidism

This study wants to see if measuring parathyroid hormone (PTH) levels during surgery helps guide how much parathyroid tissue to remove. It is for people who need surgery for hyperparathyroidism caused by kidney disease.

New imaging to find parathyroid tumors before surgery

This study tests two advanced imaging techniques (PET/MR and PET/CT) to find overactive parathyroid glands or tumors that need surgery. Participants get a special scan before surgery to help surgeons locate the problem more accurately.
