- You have a broken both bones in your forearm (radius and ulna) in the middle section.
- You are 9 years or older and still have an open growth plate at your wrist (confirmed by X-ray).
- Your fracture is a simple straight or slightly slanted break (not crushed into pieces).
- You do not have nerve damage or blood flow problems in your injured arm.
- The fracture is not an open wound (no bone poking out).
