Who can take part

  • You are 6 years old or older.
  • You weigh at least 25 kilograms (about 55 pounds).
  • You either have CAPS (confirmed by genetic testing) or live in the same home as someone with CAPS and are willing to have genetic testing.
  • You do not have a chronic sleep disorder that requires medication, sleep apnea, or work night shifts.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or caring for an infant under 6 months old.
