Antihistamine after a heart attack

ST-segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI)

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You had a type of heart attack called STEMI, confirmed by chest pain, blood tests, and ECG changes.
  • You had emergency heart procedure (coronary angiography) to open a blocked artery.
  • An ultrasound of the heart showed your heart pump function is reduced (LVEF at or below 50%).
  • You have not had a previous heart attack, heart bypass surgery, or long-term use of fexofenadine or similar allergy medicines.
