Who can take part
- You have focal epilepsy that hasn't improved with standard medications.
- At least two different tests (like your seizure symptoms, an EEG, or a special brain scan called SPECT) have pointed to the same area in your brain as the seizure starting point.
- You have had an epilepsy-focused MRI in the past that didn't show a clear cause for your seizures.
- You are able to give informed consent for an MRI scan (or have a guardian do it if you're under 18).
- You don't have any metal implants or devices that are unsafe for MRI, and you can lie still for the scan.
