Who can take part

  • You’re between 18 and 60 years old.
  • You can personally sign an informed consent form.
  • You have drug-resistant epilepsy: seizures despite standard seizure medicines for at least 1 year, with about at least 1 seizure per month.
  • You must have already been enrolled in or screened for protocol 18-N-0066 through the NINDS Epilepsy Service.
  • You must be able to have an MRI, including lying on your back for at least 2 hours and tolerating the MRI space.
  • You must be willing to let the study team share and use coded (de-identified) data for future studies.
