Who can take part

  • You have severe narrowing of your aortic valve (the main heart valve).
  • You have significant calcium buildup or known blockage in your heart arteries.
  • You are scheduled to have your aortic valve replaced through a tube inserted in the leg.
  • You have not had a heart attack or heart artery imaging in the past 12 months.
  • You do not have a very weak heart pump (ejection fraction below 30%).
