Who can take part
- Women aged 18 to 75
- Diagnosed with breast cancer (stage 0 to III) with a tumor at least 1 cm from the nipple and 8-10 mm from the skin
- Tumor size 2-3 cm (or reduced to 3 cm with chemotherapy before surgery)
- No evidence the cancer has spread to the skin, chest wall, nipple, or other parts of the body
- Strong desire for breast reconstruction and not wanting breast-conserving surgery
- Good general health (Karnofsky score 70+ or ECOG score 2 or less)
