  • You are currently in the Neuro ICU after having spine surgery
  • You do not have a diagnosed brain condition
  • You do not have open wounds on the sides of your head (near the temples)
  • You are able to speak and understand English
  • You are not pregnant, not a prisoner, and not enrolled in another study
