Who can take part
- Diagnosed with idiopathic, inherited, drug-related PAH, or PAH related to liver disease
- Had an ultrasound and a heart catheterization within 48 hours of diagnosis
- Will have a follow-up ultrasound and catheterization after starting PAH treatment
- Not have other types of pulmonary hypertension (e.g., from heart or lung disease, or blood clots)
- Not have a positive response to a vasoreactivity test or signs of lung vein involvement
