- Your baby was born before 26 weeks of pregnancy, or weighed less than 750 grams at birth.
- Your baby does not have a heart defect that was found before birth and depends on a special blood vessel called the ductus arteriosus.
- Your baby is not on a breathing machine with more than 60% oxygen for at least 2 hours.
- Your baby has not received hydrocortisone treatment.
