Who can take part
- Your baby was born between 22 and 31 weeks of pregnancy (gestation)
- Your baby has brain bleeding (IVH) or moderate-to-severe white-matter injury within 21 days after birth
- For babies born before 30 weeks: enrollment can be until day of life 30; for 30–31+6 weeks: enrollment until day of life 21
- Treatment must start no later than 33 weeks and 0 days of corrected age (PMA)
- Your baby’s main neonatologist agrees and a legal caregiver can give consent
- Your baby does not have certain limits (listed below) like a breathing machine mode called jet ventilation, or major interacting drug trials
