Who can take part
- Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes for at least one year
- Currently using a hybrid closed loop (automated insulin delivery) system
- Willing to avoid starting new non-insulin glucose-lowering medications during the study
- No severe low blood sugar with seizure or loss of consciousness in the last 6 months
- No diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) in the last 6 months unless caused by illness or infusion set failure
- No major kidney, thyroid, or adrenal conditions, and not pregnant
