Closed-loop system for adults with type 2 diabetes

Type 2 Diabetes Treated With Insulin

Part of Hormones & metabolism clinical trials.

This trial tests a 'closed-loop' system that automatically adjusts insulin delivery for people with type 2 diabetes. If you already use insulin and certain diabetes medications, this study could help see if a smart insulin pump improves blood sugar control.

NCT06925217Recruiting
Closed-loop insulin for type 2 diabetes and kidney disease

This study tests whether a special type of insulin delivery system (closed-loop) can help people with type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease. You'll wear a continuous glucose monitor and insulin pump, and researchers will track how your kidneys respond over time.

Insulin Pump vs. Full Closed-Loop for Type 2 Diabetes

This trial compares your current insulin pump therapy with a fully automated closed-loop system (artificial pancreas) that adjusts insulin using a smartphone algorithm. It aims to see which method works better for managing blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes.

Helping beta cells to reverse type 2 diabetes

This study tests whether a treatment can help your pancreas make more insulin and possibly put your type 2 diabetes into remission. It is for people diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in the last 5 years who are already on diabetes medication.

Fully Closed Loop Insulin Pump for Type 2 Diabetes

This study tests a new automated insulin pump system (Omnipod) that adjusts insulin doses on its own throughout the day for people with type 2 diabetes. The goal is to see if it helps keep blood sugar levels more stable while reducing the burden of manual insulin management.
