Who can take part

  • You have had type 1 diabetes for at least 1 year
  • You have been taking insulin by injections (multiple daily shots) for at least 6 months
  • Your most recent A1c is 7.0% or higher
  • You use at least 10 units of insulin per day
  • You are willing to use only lispro or aspart insulin during the trial
  • You do not currently use an insulin pump or a closed-loop system
