Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 75 years old and have been diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) or lupus nephritis.
  • You have active lupus symptoms or kidney inflammation from lupus.
  • You have tried at least two different lupus medicines that didn't work well enough.
  • You have a positive blood test for certain lupus-related antibodies (like ANA, anti-dsDNA, or anti-Sm).
  • Your lupus activity score (SLEDAI-2K) is 6 or higher, without counting fever, lupus headache, hair loss, or confusion.
