Gene Therapy for Advanced Bile Duct Cancer

Who can take part
- You must be 18 or older and have a confirmed diagnosis of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.
- Your cancer cannot be treated with surgery, liver transplant, or ablation, or it has come back or spread after surgery.
- You must have had at least one chemotherapy regimen that included gemcitabine, a fluoropyrimidine, or a platinum drug, and your cancer got worse during or after that treatment.
- You need to have a life expectancy of at least 12 weeks and be in generally reasonable health (able to do most daily activities).
- Your liver and kidney function must be within certain limits—this will be checked with blood tests.
- You cannot have certain uncontrolled infections, uncontrolled brain metastases, or other active cancers in the last 5 years (except for a few low-risk types).
