Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You are on a breathing machine (ventilator) in a mode that lets you breathe on your own.
- You are sedated enough that you don't move or respond much (RASS score between -3 and -5).
- You already have a small, soft tube (Pes catheter) placed in your esophagus as part of your care.
- You are not allergic to the medication rocuronium.
- You are not pregnant.
