Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease (idiopathic, meaning the cause is not known)
  • You have been on a stable dose of Parkinson's medication for at least 2 weeks
  • You can walk 10 meters (about 33 feet) without help from another person or a walking aid
  • You score at least 24 on a test of thinking and memory
  • You have at least a junior high school education
  • You do not have any other medical condition that affects your balance or brain (like a stroke, severe arthritis, or a lung problem), and you have not had brain surgery such as deep brain stimulation
