Who can take part

  • You have knee arthritis only on the inside of one knee.
  • You do not have any serious medical conditions.
  • Non-surgical treatments (like physical therapy or medicines) haven't helped, and you are willing to have surgery.
  • Your knee can bend more than 90 degrees, and your leg deformity is less than 15 degrees.
  • Your knee ligaments are intact and pain is only on the inner side of your knee.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 35 or lower, and you don't have severe obesity caused by other conditions.
