Who can take part

  • You are between 30 and 60 years old.
  • You have pain on the inside of your knee from a bow-legged alignment that hasn't been helped by other treatments.
  • Your leg's curve is mostly in the shin bone and can be fixed with a wedge, within a safe gap size.
  • You are not a current smoker, or you are willing to quit before surgery.
  • You do not have inflammatory arthritis, take steroid pills, or have a BMI over 35.
  • You have not had major knee infections or certain previous surgeries on that leg.
