Who can take part
- You had your first mild stroke or TIA and started taking a blood thinner within 24 hours.
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You are not eligible for a clot-busting medicine (rt-PA).
- You have no history of stomach ulcers, major bleeding, or major surgery in the last 3 months.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and have no recent heart attack or active cancer.
