  • Child must be between 4 and 6 years old.
  • Cavity in a baby molar (back tooth) must be in the enamel or dentin layer, with the nerve still healthy.
  • Child must be generally healthy and able to cooperate during treatment.
  • No signs of nerve damage (like swelling, abscess, or pain that comes on its own).
  • No cavity on the root of the tooth.
