- Your child is between 5 and 9 years old
- Your child has a cavity (decay) on the top or bottom surface of a baby molar tooth
- The cavity does not reach the nerve (pulp) inside the tooth
- Your child has not had any restorations, sealants, or enamel defects on the tooth being treated
- Your child is in good overall health
- You can provide written permission for your child to participate
