Who can take part

  • You have had a spinal cord injury at least 12 months ago that is stable and above the lower back.
  • You have urinary incontinence due to an overactive bladder that has been confirmed by a bladder test.
  • You have tried medication for overactive bladder for at least 3 months and still have at least 8 leaks per week, or you have had an inadequate response to Botox injections.
  • You are willing not to get surgery for bladder control during the study.
  • You do not have an active herpes infection near your mouth or genitals, and no recent cancer treatment.
