Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older and have HIV.
- You currently smoke at least 5 cigarettes a day.
- You are not taking any medication to help you quit smoking, like nicotine patches or gum.
- You are not pregnant or nursing, and do not plan to become pregnant in the next 6 months.
- You live in the New York City area and will stay here for the next 6 to 8 months.
- You have a working mobile phone that can receive text messages.
