This study looks at freezing a nerve before ACL surgery to help reduce the amount of strong pain medicine you need afterward. If you're having ACL reconstruction with your own tendon and haven't been using opioids regularly, you may be able to join.

  • You are 14 or older
  • You are having ACL surgery that uses your own tendon (autograft)
  • You are not taking opioid pain medicine regularly before surgery
  • You do not have Raynaud's syndrome
  • You do not have skin problems or poor blood flow in your leg
