Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • Your recurrent liver cancer is at an intermediate stage—meaning you have 2 to 3 tumors (with at least one larger than 3 cm) or more than 3 tumors, but no more than 6 tumors and none larger than 5 cm.
  • The cancer has not spread outside the liver or into major blood vessels.
  • Your liver function is fairly good (Child-Pugh class A or B).
  • You have already received TACE for this recurrence and the tumors did not get worse after that treatment.
  • Your doctor expects you to live more than 3 months.
